New Student Orientation – Portsmouth Campus
Three dates to choose from:
- Tuesday, August 20, 9:00-4:00PM
- Wednesday, August 21, 9:00-4:00PM
- Thursday, August 22, 3:00-8:00PM
Required for all new students. Orientation is an opportunity to gain insight into what to expect at Great Bay, learn about opportunities to get involved in campus activities, clubs/organizations, as well as participate in an important technology session that will help prepare you for a successful college career. Attendees will receive GBCC swag!
If a student cannot attend in person there will be an online orientation in Canvas. Nonparticipants will be registered for late August. They shouldn’t panic or stress but look for the module in Canvas to complete closer to the start of classes.
The online orientation can be accessed through your CANVAS page. Please log-in using the link to the CCSNH portal below.
Once logged in, you will click on CANVAS, and all of your courses, including the “GBCC New Student Orientation” course that you have been invited to join should show up under “Courses”. If you don’t see it, go back to your “Dashboard” and accept the invite.
The New Student Orientation page includes videos from our President as well as other key departments around campus. All of these videos and links can be found in “Modules”.
